Buyer Home Inspections
STXP provides comprehensive home inspections to give buyers peace of mind. Our priority is safety! We aim to uncover deficiencies and safety concerns. Inspections cover the structural, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and optional systems as well as appliances.
Here are some key areas our inspectors focus on:

Grounds: Inspectors start the inspection looking at pathways, retaining walls, and faulty grading causing current or future water issues.

Structure: Does the property have a solid foundation? Are there indicators of foundations settling or uplifting? Are the exterior door frames square? This part of the inspection is particularly important on older house.

Exterior: Inspector examines the exterior of the structure for signs of damage such as cracks, missing siding, and water infiltration.

Windows, doors, trim: Must be in good working condition! Frames are secure and without rot, adequate caulking, and glass panes are undamaged.

Roof: Damage to shingles, flashing, soffit and fascia, loose gutters, all of which can cause ceiling drips and defects in chimneys and skylights.

Interior: We meticulously look for signs of damage to walls, cabinets, doorways, and other visible components inside the home.

Kitchen: Inspects range hood exhaust fans, microwave ovens, stoves and dishwashers. Proper GFCI protection must exists for electrical outlets.

Plumbing: Checking for leaks, ensuring proper functionality of faucets, shower heads, toilets, and assessing the condition of exposed pipes.

Electrical: Safety is top priority! We test outlets and GFCI as well as examine the electrical panel for potential issues.

HVAC: We inspect the HVAC system and ducting to ensure optimal working order.
